Connecting the Dots – They Want to Kill Us!

When I was a kid, I enjoyed playing connect the dots. It was a real cute game. It was something like this one.

Some of them, you got an idea what the picture result would be — much like this one. [Hint: This is George Washington] So when Obama said that the dots weren’t connected in the case of the attempted bombing of Flight 253 on Christmas Day, I find his remarks laughable.

Right from the beginning Obama was told by the Bush administration about the plots uncovered that were designed to blow up cities or landmarks in our country.

Here is a partial list of Muslims in the United States who have been arrested and/or convicted for either planning or acting out “jihad” – the list is 180 strong…and growing. These are the DOTS that show the enemy is right here in the United States as well as those coming from abroad to try to destroy us.

How many dots need to be connected before Obama sees the picture for what it is? THEY WANT TO KILL US!

Instead, what does he do? His administration makes a four-letter word out of the word TERRORISM. Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano renames terrorism “man-caused disasters.”

In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur. der Spiegel

If you don’t fear your enemy (and it doesn’t mean you have to be shaking in your boots), then you tend to resort to complatency. And then you start treating terrorism as if it were common crimes committed in the United States and you start affording terrorists the same rights as American citizens. And that’s exactly what has happened.

Richard Reid, the British shoebomber was tried in a US Federal court and convicted of of attempting to destroy a commercial aircraft in-flight by detonating explosives hidden in his shoes.

Jose Padilla, the former “enemy combatant”, and American citizen, who was convicted on conspiracy charges to plotting to detonate a “dirty bomb” in NY city was convicted in a US Federal Court as well as two co-defendants.

Yet back in World War II, there were 8 Nazi saboteurs who came to America to commit acts of sabotage and were tried and convicted before a Military Tribunal. THAT was the precedent case that showed we should always use a Military Tribunal to try terrorists in this country.

Instead we give them all the rights of an American citizen and once they “lawyer-up” we can no longer ask them any more questions, thus shutting down the investigative part of this. Simply put, there would be no way we can find out more about the thwarted plot nor any other plots in the works.

Obama and clan needs to see the BIG PICTURE as they’re connecting the dots and realize that there’s nothing wrong in fearing our enemies. But what’s wrong is refusing to connect the dots and coming to a conclusion that is already known and documented.
