So the Northwest Airlines Attack is Terrorism but Fort Hood Isn’t?

Right out of the gate, Obama and the White House called the attempted bombing on Northwest Airlines a terrorist attack.

“Obama’s military aide told the president about an incident aboard a plane as it was landing in Detroit just after 9 a.m. here [in Hawaii]. The president phoned his homeland security adviser and the chief of staff to the National Security Council for a briefing…’We believe this was an attempted act of terrorism,AP

But when it came to the murder of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood by Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the White House stepped over its tongue refusing to use the “T” word until much later.

[The White House] cautioned the public against “jumping to conclusions” about the murders of 13 people, and then, a day later, declared that “we cannot fully know” accused killer Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s motives. Washington Examiner

So I’m guessing now with TWO terrorists attacking the United States that the word “terrorism” has come out of the mothballs?

Apparently the Obama administration thought all these past terrorist attacks were contrived by the Bush Administration. Oops! Guess not. Now maybe they’ll get their collective gonads together and actually take terrorism seriously.
