Senate Passes Health Care Bill

in the wee hours of the morning…..OK, they slept. They voted at 7 am. No big surprise. It was 60-39 (which Republican didn’t vote?—not that it matters).

The real test comes when the bill is tossed back to the House and it’s hashed out again. The House bill contains the Public Option as well as the amendment for not funding abortions. With both issues you have both sides of the aisle with serious concerns. But will they be serious enough to derail this whole thing? And if the hashing takes a lot of time, will the public disapproval affect the outcome?
